This month, EWI will offer a two-part webinar series on the topic of large-scale directed energy deposition (DED):

• GMA-P DED Standard Qualification Builds — Stainless Steel Demonstration will be presented by Dennis Harwig, Strategic Technology Leader, on Thursday, May 20th at 2:00pm EDT. This interactive session will introduce qualification schemes EWI has developed for the Navy and how they can be applied across industrial manufacturing.
• Robotic Directed Energy Deposition System Setups — User Experience with Multiple Configurations will be presented by Applications Engineer Mike Carney on Thursday, May 27th at 2:00pm EDT. This session will focus on EWI’s work converting multiple robotic welding systems into large-scale, multi-process DED systems.

Both of these free webinars will be 45 minutes and include Q&A time at the end.
